The decision aims to refine the mechanism for reserving employees of defence enterprises that are critical to the economy and to meeting the needs of the Security and Defence Forces.
From now on, decisions by the Ministry of Defence that designate enterprises, institutions and organisations as critical within the defence sector will no longer specify the number of employees eligible for reservation.
This adjustment reflects the realities of defence-industry operations in wartime and opens the door to scaling up the production of essential weaponry.
