These decisions establish new conditions for relocating and rapidly restoring the production capacity of Ukrainian defence manufacturers.
“We are launching a new experimental project involving Motor Sich, accelerating the design and planning of new facilities, ensuring simplified access to water, gas, heat, and electricity, enabling supporting infrastructure for the uninterrupted operation of relocated capacities, and guaranteeing the protection of sensitive security information,” stated Minister of Defence of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
According to him, all these measures will accelerate the recovery and establishment of new Motor Sich facilities to fulfill state defence contracts on a 24/7 basis.
Furthermore, the conditions, criteria, and mechanisms for state financial support to defence enterprises were clarified, including partial compensation for interest and leasing payments.
“We are strengthening, modernizing, and scaling up the defence industry so that the Ukrainian military has everything it needs to defend the state and protect the life and health of every person,” Denys Shmyhal concluded.
