Its effective strike range surpasses that of similar multicopters. This enables its use, in particular, against enemy tube artillery, including the 122 mm howitzer 2A18 (D-30) and the 152 mm howitzer 2A65 Msta-B, among others.

Beyond countering enemy artillery, the drone’s combat payload is sufficient to defeat light armour, tactical vehicles, and field fortifications.

The Baton Optic drone features fiber-optic control and video transmission channels that are fully protected against electronic warfare (EW) systems. The drone is equipped with high-performance electric motors, a reinforced frame, and high-capacity batteries.

The upgraded Baton Optic drone remains effective during the day, at night, and in low-visibility conditions.
